Mississippi-based community bank Merchants & Marine Bank had two student-oriented goals for the fall of 2022: an increase in opens for Scholar Checking accounts, geared toward students ages 15 to 25; and broader adoption of their custom school debit cards, which support participating local high schools through fee-based donations.
To capture this distinct audience, Snapshot created a highly targeted digital advertising campaign with custom creative and multi-touch tactics. Our team deployed paid social media ads to spark interest, leading users to a conversion-optimized landing page with a tracking pixel. Those page visitors were retargeted through a paid Google campaign designed to place Merchants & Marine Bank top of mind with users actively comparing student checking options. To promote custom debit cards, we designed digital school spirit ads and targeted and geotargeted their delivery to current customers and participating high schools and surrounding counties.
