Video is a vital communication and educational tool for DECA. Each year DECA produces a new video that is a key component to driving new memberships. For this membership video DECA wanted a very upbeat, high energy, engaging video. We opted to go with a hybrid of animation and captured footage. The bold graphics, music score coupled with the various cadences of edits proved to be very successful in aligning with DECA’s core audience of high-schoolers.
