Team Experience & Operations Manager

You’ll take ownership of key areas like onboarding, team operations, payroll, benefits, and employee programs — all while helping shape a workplace where people love to show up and do their best work.

ResponsIbilities

People Operations & Employee Lifecycle

  • Serve as the go-to resource for employee-related questions, policies, and support.
  • Manage all stages of the employee lifecycle: onboarding, check-ins, reviews, promotions, and offboarding.
  • Coordinate recruiting logistics including job postings, scheduling, and candidate communication.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies.
  • Support managers with performance documentation and employee relations best practices.

Culture, Engagement & Internal Communication

  • Manage internal programming including celebrations, events, and cross-office initiatives.
  • Own the internal culture calendar, supporting birthday shoutouts, team-building events, and leadership communications.
  • Help drive engagement through surveys, town halls, and rollout of new initiatives.

Payroll, Benefits & Financial Support

  • Administer employee benefits and serve as the main contact for provider communications.
  • Partner with the Director of Accounting on payroll processing, reimbursements, and compliance.
  • Support accounting tasks such as invoicing, bookkeeping, and contractor onboarding paperwork.
  • Track PTO and leave policies, ensuring clarity and consistency across the team.

Office & Admin Operations

  • Oversee office operations: supplies, vendor coordination, desk setups, and hospitality.
  • Ensure the workplace is fully stocked, welcoming, and reflects our team’s energy and standards.
  • Coordinate in-office events, conference room scheduling, and logistics for team meetings.
Required Experience
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
  • A proactive problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Trustworthy and discreet when handling confidential information.
  • A people-first thinker with strong interpersonal skills and a service-oriented mindset.
  • Comfortable juggling systems, communication, logistics, and culture-building responsibilities.
  • 3–5 years of experience in people operations, office management, or a related role.
  • Working knowledge of HR compliance and employment law (multi-state experience a plus).
  • Experience with payroll and benefits administration (ADP or similar platform preferred).
  • Proficiency in bookkeeping, invoice management, and financial documentation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Sheets/Excel).
